Press Officials from IAAF Arrived Nanning for Media Affairs

(NN News) IAAF/SINOPEC World Half Marathon Championships Nanning 2010 is to be held in Nanning on Oct. 16, for which the preparatory work is going on well. Yannis NIKOLAOU, the Communication Manager of IAAF and Yang Feng, the International Affairs Manager of Chinese Athletic Association of the General Administration of Sport of China reached Nanning on July 1 to communicate for media reception, etc. On the morning of July 2, Yannis and Yang Feng had field visit to the hotels for the media center and foreign journalists and reporters, accompanied by the officials from the Organizing Committee of the Event.

On the afternoon, the Meeting for Press Affairs was held on the 4^th floor of Red Forest Hotel, at which the reception and services for media were mainly discussed and the 2 sides also agreed to each other on media center management, accreditation and other details. Yannis said that he believed Nanning, despite having never held any event of IAAF, would present a marvellous sport event to the world with the coordination and cooperation of the 2 sides.
